Downtown Goshen’s Fire and Ice Festival is back, and the whole neighborhood is lighting up—literally. From shimmering sculptures carved out of 300-lb blocks of ice to fire performers dancing against the winter sky, it’s one of our favorite nights to gather downtown.
This year, we’re thrilled to welcome two wonderful authors for a relaxed meet & greet inside the shop from 6–8 PM:
💙Megan Davidhizar
Author of Silent Sister and the upcoming Gaslit
Megan brings a sharp mix of mystery, heart, and sibling tension to her fiction. Silent Sister—available in hardcover and paperback—is a gripping story of fractured sisterhood and a twisty mystery that keeps readers talking long after the last page.
Guests can preorder Gaslit during the event, ahead of its release on January 13. You’re also invited to RSVP for Megan’s Gaslit Book Launch at Fairfield Jr–Sr High School on January 13 at 6 PM at fablesbooks.com/events.
💙Olivia (Feller) Gerber
Author of Holding Hope
A Goshen local with a heart for those navigating chronic pain, Olivia writes with tenderness and deep compassion. Holding Hope is a companion for seasons when life takes unexpected turns—told through intimate letters that sit with readers in grief, resilience, and faith. Olivia brings warmth to everything she does, from her creative work to her community life here at home.
Whether you’re coming for the sculptures, the stories, or just a warm place to land between icy adventures, we’d love to spend the evening with you. Stop in, say hello, and discover your next great read while you’re downtown for First Fridays.
